The plan for the proposal originated when I thought hard about places that were special to me. Lake Mohegan in Fairfield is somewhere my grandpa had taken me as a child and the bridge that crosses over the cascades was the perfect place to ask the love of my life to marry me. She was surprised at the timing and location and the surprise photographer to capture the moment. And the ring is even more beautiful than she imagined it!
