Return Policy

Exchanges, Returns & Cancellations:

Stock merchandise may be exchanged within 60 days of delivery if never worn and in new condition. The original sales slip and all related certificated, grading reports and warrantees must accompany returns or exchanges.

Exceptions:

  1. Watches may be returned only within 7 days if never worn and in new condition, with all links, warranty forms and packaging intact
  2. Merchandise sold ‘as is’ or as ‘final sale’, special orders and/or personalized items may not be returned. Payments will be forfeited

Refunds:

Refunds are allowed on items returned in new condition within 30 days and will be made by the original method of payment, except cash refunds over $25 will be by check and mailed within 10 days. Refunds for payment by check will be mailed after the check clears the bank

Layaway Policy:

Articles may be held, after 25% down payment for up to 60 days for full payment. If not paid in full within 60 days, amounts paid in will not be refunded but will be applied to other merchandise

Damaged Items Under First Year Warranty (from date of sale:

Michaels Jewelers will repair any item at no charge if misused or abused. If damage is beyond repair, regardless of fault, Michaels will share equally the cost of replacement (current price). Lost jewelry is not considered damaged and should be insured by customer

  1. Chipped Stones are considered damaged and will be re-cut or polished at no charge
  2. Lost Stones are considered damaged beyond repair and Michaels will share equally its replacement
  3. Watches are warranted by their manufacturer. Request for warranty service will be submitted to manufacturer for determination of eligibility. Under no circumstances is moisture damage covered under warranty. Exception: Michaels "Brand" watches are unconditionally warranteed for 3 days from date of purchase

Repairs:

Jewelry and watch repairs are waranteed for1 year for the service performed, provided abuse or misuse is not indicated. Occasionally, repairs may be made with the provision of no guarantee on work completed. Lost items or lost/damaged gemstones are not covered under warranty

Gemstone Enhancement:

If your purchase includes a colored gemstone, please note that for centuries, most gemstones (this does NOT include diamonds) have historically and traditionally been enhanced to improve color, clarity and/or stability. These enhancements significantly improve the appearance and value of a gemstone and are usually permanent. Emeralds, which require special care, are an exception. They are enhanced using numerous methods, which, in most cases, can be 're-enhanced' to improve their appearance at a modest cost if prior treatment is reversed
